Club 3000 Bingo are well known for their chain of more than 20 bingo halls which are mostly in Wales and up north; for their venture into online bingo they have chosen the Jumpman platform.
With the brand name Club3000 Bingo you can’t help but instantly think of a futuristic bingo theme. Maybe a bingo caller beamed in by hologram, virtual bingo balls floating above your head or putting a headset on and instantly being in your local land based club. Even virtual time era bingo, OK I’m running away with myself a bit.
Back to reality, Club3000 Bingo first launched a land based club back in 2006 in Coatbridge Scotland. Over the last 20 or so years this family-run business has quietly grown into the UK’s largest independent land based bingo operator with 25 venues across the country and is the third biggest operator overall. With modern, classy venues they have recently invested £7 million into a new purpose built venue in Edinburgh alongside opening a brand new site in Leeds.
While Club3000 has a solid presence on the high street, its online platform is in the big scheme of things run separately by Jumpman Gaming. Whilst Jumpman provides a solid, tried and tested platform alongside a great design and a broad array of titles from 20+ games providers, we couldn’t help but feel that a brand as ambitious as Club3000 has played it a little bit safe with Jumpman instead of going bold and futuristic with maybe their own unique platform like some of their land based rivals. Be that as it may, Club3000 Bingo is one of many sites operated by Jumpman, providing a gaming experience focused generally on slots and bingo.
The landing page is purple and pink, with white headers which break it up a little. It’s in general a big banner promoting their welcome offer with their futuristic logo towards the top left also catching the eye instantly. By tapping or clicking on the home icon you instantly arrive at the casino lobby with a handful of categories to choose from. The icon that is shaped like a person towards the right links you to your account area, alongside a well stocked promotions section, offers and the daily wheel also all linked towards the top. With 1000+ games at your disposal including some bingo rooms by Pragmatic Play and live table games delivered by Playtech, this platform can be located from a number of different devices, particularly mobile. So let’s put on our jetpacks and take a closer look.
Signing up here is definitely not light years ahead, it’s quick, smooth and you could be playing in a matter of minutes. You will receive a welcome text and email with protection tools at your fingertips to set deposit limits, reality checks and marketing preferences. Club3000 Bingo will try to verify your account when you register, however you could be asked to provide ID and proof of address before you play or in the future. This is completely normal and nothing to worry about.
The welcome offer gives players the opportunity to win varying numbers of slot spins, but they come with wagering requirements on the larger side.
Club3000 Bingo provides 30, 75, 80 and 90-ball bingo delivered by Pragmatic Play. On the plus side this means that everything runs smoothly with rooms loading quickly and ticket prices to suit all budgets. However, we can’t help but feel this is all a bit safe from a brand as big as Club3000. It does deliver a basic game of bingo but it doesn’t capture the atmosphere or personality of their land-based clubs. So if you are looking for that wow factor you might feel a little disappointed.
On a positive note, the bingo on offer here is also available via a mobile browser which is great for the player. With 9 rooms to choose from, 5 of which are consistently running games, there is a good variety of games. These include the Zoom room where the progressive jackpot at the time of writing stood at a massive £19,500 with the jackpot in the Country room £4500. Other games include the Boombox, Jackpot room, Animingo, Diamond Dazzle (a Deal Or No Deal style game) and Bingo Blast (a fast paced game). Some rooms were pretty steady with 70+ players when we visited, others a little bit quieter. It does tend to be busier in the evening. You can also buy pre-tickets for future games. There are no chat rooms here, so no shouts of 2TG or sprinkles of fairy dust, which does take the social element out of it slightly. Lastly, although there are not any direct promotions on their bingo product, you can earn trophies for your game play within the loyalty reward scheme.
Clicking or tapping on the slots tab here is like opening a wormhole, with so much choice within their games library you could get lost forever. OK, slight exaggeration, but there are many, many slot titles from most of your favourite game providers.
Navigating your way around here is pretty self explanatory, with an assortment of titles under the popular or slot categories. Some games are divided into themes which include the Cosmic Adventures section which is home to Starburst, Finn and the Swirly Spin, Reactoonz and Cygnus games. In fact there are 245+ games there alone. Other areas involve a Gone Fishing section with Big Bass Bonanza and Fishin’ Frenzy titles there amongst 80+ others. Other themed areas include the Tales of Egypt which is home to Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead, plus a very well stocked Megaways section.
New titles are updated regularly, neatly placed (you guessed it) in their own section. There is even an area dedicated to everyone’s favourite pink elephant Fluffy. This platform has an overall simple laid back feel to it with the layout orderly and games tiles a good size. This does make navigating around very easy. Although being completely uncomplicated the addition of a handy search function, basic as it is, can help you pinpoint your favourite games. This could be further improved if you were able to search by provider or be able to save games into a favourite area.
Lastly, there is a good but limited choice of Progressive Jackpot slots which are delivered by Eyecon. You can find these under the Jackpots category within the lobby. With 60+ titles to choose from, games include Irish Luck Jackpot, Piggy Payout Jackpot and Dynamite Digger Eureka Jackpot.
Although slots and bingo is this platform’s primary focus there is a (be it modest) selection of live and video table games within the live and casino tabs located in the lobby. You’ll be pleased to hear there aren’t any robots dealing Blackjack or spinning the Roulette wheel. Games are supplied by Playtech and what’s on offer is well delivered. Although there is no game show category in the lobby or visually you can still find a handful of these games via the search function. At the time of writing Vegas Ball Bonanza, Mega Wheel, Adventures Beyond Wonderland, Sweet Bonanza CandyLand and 9 Pots of Gold live are all available. It would be nice to see more of these games added on a regular basis.
Alongside the table games is a noteworthy Slingo area which is located in the slots section. With 65+ titles to select from, games are themed on some of your favourite slot titles. These include Starburst, Fluffy, Davinci Diamonds and Deal or No Deal Slingo to name a few.
There are a small variety of other, more niche, games to choose from which you can only find via the search function. These include Lucky Tap, Instant Wins, Keno, Plinko and Crash games.
There are always plenty of promotions to consider at a Jumpman site and Club3000 Bingo is no exception. Alongside their welcome offer mentioned earlier is the daily wheel you can spin once a day, prize draws, tournaments and Fluffy Friday to name a few. You can also achieve “trophies” by completing certain tasks which unlock rewards (mainly free spins) for your play within the loyalty programme. Additionally they reward game play with tailor made personal promotions via email so keep an eye on your inbox if you opted in.
A distinctive strong point here is the fact that Club3000 Bingo delivers on multiple user platforms. So if you want to play on the train or relaxing on the sofa after a hard day this casino is very much mobile and tablet friendly via a mobile browser. There isn’t a gaming app available at the time of writing; Club3000 Bingo’s app is for managing club membership and special offers at their venues only.
There are a variety of banking options available here. Alongside the common Debit Card, you can also use Paypal, Skrill and Apple Pay from a mobile device. Please note deposits via Pay by Mobile incur a £2.50 transaction fee and all withdraws concur a flat fee of £2.50.
If the need arises and you require any help or advice Club3000 Bingo friendly customer support team are available via live chat Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm. Alternatively, you can contact the Casino by way of email or maybe find the answers you are looking for by means of their informative FAQ area.
Unfortunately Club3000 Bingo doesn’t capture the atmosphere and vibe of their land based venues. However, what it does have is a massive games library and a smooth functional mobile site which in turn provides its customers with a good all round gaming experience. Maybe it is time to beam down and take a look for yourself.
