The name makes little sense if you don’t speak Spanish, but this new casino and sportsbook is very much open for UK players.
The name of this site is a bit of a challenge for UK players. Apuestarey literally means BetKing in Spanish. And that’s a pretty big clue about the platform’s priorities: sports betting comes first. But the casino isn’t just thrown in to fill space. There’s a decent range of games, and as with another recent Aspire launch, Alfobet, the casino feels like a signficant part of the package, even if it isn’t given as much prominence in the branding or on the home page as sports betting.
The site runs under Aspire’s UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) license and as you’d expect, everything is encrypted with SSL, while the games are all tested by eCOGRA, so there’s no faulting its security and legal credentionals.
The site design is simple, clean, and functional, with none of the flash or complications you can see on other new sites. Everything has a place, and nothing feels cluttered.
There are some weak points. Customer support isn’t always easy to reach, and withdrawals take longer than you’d expect for a site launched in 2025. These issues aren’t deal breakers for most people, but they do slow things down and can be frustrating especially if you are an experienced player who has played a range of sites.
As we mentioned above, as soon as you open up the site, it’s immediately obvious that sports are the main focus. Football, basketball, and tennis fixtures dominate the screen. The design here is minimalistic: a dark background with bright icons and no clutter.
The casino section is even less flashy than the sports betting area. Games are displayed as large tiles in grids and scrolling through them is simple.
What Apuestarey loses in presentation, it gains in usability. The search tools and filters make it simple to find the game you are after, and you don’t have to click through dozens of pages to get what you want. That said, if you’re looking for a modern, gamified or immersive site, you’ll be disappointed. Apuestarey is plain, functional, and effective, with very little spark.
Slots dominate here, with over 2,200 titles from well-known developers, including all of the most popular slots from Starburst and Wolf Gold to the Big Bass Bonanza and Fluffy Favourites series. The library also seems to be updated fairly regularly, which helps keep things interesting for returning players.
The progressive jackpot section isn’t huge. You won’t find Mega Moolah or other massive names here, but there are still options for players chasing bigger wins. The live dealer section is much more impressive, offering dozens of versions of blackjack, roulette, baccarat. Gameshows such as Monopoly Live and Dream Catcher are represented too, which adds a bit of variety beside the usual card and table games.
Where the platform falls short is in its lack of anything such as player missions or a tiered VIP or loyalty system. For players who enjoy rewards or challenges, the overall experience for regular players at Apuestarey is a little flat. The games themselves are fine, but the package doesn’t do much to appeal to players beyond that. Taking a leaf out of the book of some of the more gamified modern casinos would help make the platform more dynamic.
The sportsbook is at the platform’s core. Coverage across the major sports here is good and includes top football leagues across Europe and South America, big basketball competitions, tennis circuits, and popular American sports like NFL and NBA. On top of that, the platform covers niche sports such as darts, futsal, table tennis, and eSports. That variety is a welcome touch, especially if you like exploring different markets beyond the mainstream.
The live betting markets appear to be busy and an array of statistics and visual trackers help with decision-making. Live streaming, however, is limited, so if you like watching the action while you bet, this might feel restrictive, and for some live punters, it will be a deal breaker. For casual and average punters, the sports betting pages offer plenty to work with, just don’t expect all the extras you’d get from bigger, more established operators.
New players can claim a fairly standard welcome bonus offer, and the terms and conditions are the usual mixed bag of good and not so good. Not all games count toward the bonus wagering requirement (with table games and live games contributing nothing). The playthrough requirement at x40 is a touch higher than we would like to see (and higher than at other Aspire Global casinos).
One small frustration is how bonus information is presented. Details are buried in the general terms and conditions, and you have to dig to understand exactly what you’re signing up for. It’s not impossible, but it isn’t convenient. A little more upfront transparency would make things run smoother, especially for newcomers.
Apart from the welcome bonus, there aren’t a lot of promotions. Occasionally, you might find a slot tournament or free spins campaign, but as we mentioned above, there’s no real loyalty program, no tiered rewards, no ongoing incentives to keep players coming back
The site’s mobile access is good, overall. It runs smoothly in browsers on smartphones and tablets. Menus collapse neatly, odds refresh quickly and all of the slots we tried ran without lag. That said, some will regret the absence of a dedicated app. Casino players who are used to push notifications, app-only promotions, and seamless transitions between devices will be disappointed. For casual users, though, the browser is enough.
Payment methods cover the basics: major debit cards, e-wallets, prepaid cards and bank transfers, and deposits are near-instant, but withdrawals take 48 to 72 hours. That’s slower than many modern sites, which now offer instant or near-instant payout options, and Apuestarey’s operators should consider sharpening up their payout processing systems.
Customer support is another weak point. You won’t find any full-time live chat to resolve queries. Instead, you have to go through a messaging system, with responses taking a few hours to a full day. Email and phone contact aren’t easy to find either and the FAQ is very basic. Getting help can be slower than on other platforms, which might frustrate players who need answers quickly, and is poor for a modern site.
Apuestarey is another attempt by Aspire Global to combine sports betting and casino gaming on a single site. In many ways, it works. The sportsbook is broad and functional while the casino has a good mix of slots and live dealer games.
But there are clear limitations. The promotional package is underwhelming. Withdrawals take longer than they should, support isn’t as responsive as it could be, and the lack of gamification makes the casino less engaging.
If you just want a single account for sports and casino, it works fine. But if you care about loyalty rewards, fast payouts, and quick support you’re going to find it lacking. Overall, Apuestarey is better suited to casual players than high-frequency gamblers looking for a fast, feature-rich experience. It’s clean, functional, and usable, but it doesn’t grab the imagination.
At Best New Bingo Sites all of our reviews are completely honest and written by industry experts. We aim to present all our offers as transparently as possible with a full explanation of the terms and conditions. We receive commission from the sites we feature and this may affect how prominently they appear on our site and their position in our listings.
40x bonus on slots only. Some games are real money only – they can’t be played with bonus and don’t contribute to the wagering.
Apuestarey has the standard Aspire Global Responsible Gaming Policy but it’s been reformatted to make it much easier to read than at most other Aspire casinos and includes an interactive questionnaire. They offer daily, weekly and monthly play limits as well as the usual deposit limits, reality check, time out and self exclusion and refer players to BetBlocker for further safer gambling options.
