Big Money Live at Buzz Bingo

Updated: 24th Oct 2024
Buzz Bingo have long been one of the bingo industry’s greatest innovators. For example, their live bingo sessions which run from noon until 10pm every day have live streamed video presenters who get properly involved with the bingo games.
Now, they have gone one better and brought Buzz Bingo clubs into the equation as well with the Big Money Live games!

Big Money Live kicked off on 30th September. There’s daily games with full house prizes of either £2000 or £5000 plus a monthly game (the first of which will take place on Saturday 26th October) with a full house of a massive £100,000.
There’s four ways to buy tickets for these games:
- The Big Money Live room on the Buzz Bingo website
- The Buzz Bingo mobile app
- Touchscreen tickets in a Buzz Bingo club
- Paper tickets in a Buzz Bingo club
All of the games have the same ticket price which shows online as 20p. However, tickets can only be bought in strips of 6 priced at £1, so you’re effectively getting 6 for the price of 5. The maximum ticket purchase is 12 strips which is 72 tickets.
In Buzz Bingo clubs you buy on the day, online you buy in the Big Money Live bingo room or from the schedule. Do be aware that you can’t use bingo bonus in the Big Money Live bingo room.
The Big Money Live room looks just like a regular Playtech bingo room, with a large pane on the desktop version for the streamed video content. It’s actually radically different though; the numbers are called live on a video stream from the Buzz Bingo studios in Derby and in Buzz Bingo clubs, you see the caller on a big screen. If you don’t want to see the video online (you might not if your internet connection is slow) you can close it and still hear the numbers being called. Don’t worry though, if you are playing online your numbers will still be auto daubed – so if your connection drops or you can’t be there for the whole game, you won’t miss out.

Normally in a Playtech bingo room you can see how many other players are in the game, but in this case the number you see will only include the online players (108 of them, in the screenshot) and not the presumably large numbers of players participating in Buzz clubs.
If someone online wins, you’ll see their chat name, but if someone in a club wins you will see the name of the club they are in.
Because the game is delivered by a live caller and is not automated, if you are lucky enough to win online you won’t receive your winnings instantly; you can expect the money to be credited to your account within 24 hours apart from in the £100K game when it may take longer. If you win in a Buzz club, winnings of up to £2000 can be paid out in club and the balance in the form of a cheque.
Currently the schedule for the Big Money games is as follows:
Day | Time | Full House Prize | 1 Line Prize | 2 Lines Prize |
---|---|---|---|---|
Monday – Friday | 2pm | £2000 | £100 | £200 |
Monday – Friday | 8.30pm | £5000 | £200 | £300 |
Saturday | 2.30pm | £5000 | £200 | £300 |
Saturday (not 26th October) | 8.30pm | £5000 | £200 | £300 |
Sunday | 2.30pm | £2000 | £100 | £200 |
Sunday | 8.30pm | £5000 | £200 | £300 |
Saturday 26th October only | 8.30pm | £100,000 | £5000 | £10,000 |
There might be some adjustments to the prize money after the first month depending on how popular these truly omni-channel games turn out to be, especially to the really big money game that’s planned for the last Saturday of every month. Please check the Buzz Bingo website for the latest information.
UPDATE: line prizes have been added to all of these games as per the above table!
