Who are Jumpman Gaming?
Jumpman Gaming are based in Guernsey and hold an Alderney licence as well as a UK one. They started out as a bingo site operator and white label solution provider.
The first Jumpman network was 15 Network, launched back in 2011. In 2015 the emphasis started to move towards slots with the launch of the Wheel of Slots network. This was a bingo network but the welcome offer and player promotions were based around a bonus game where the players could win slot spins. The following year, they launched a third network with no bingo at all – the Jumpman Slots network.
All Jumpman sites are really all about the slots now. The bingo network has long since gone over to a slots based offer now very similar to the one on the Jumpman Slots network, and there ended up being so few players in their bingo rooms that they got rid of the bingo software completely, replacing it with some widely networked Pragmatic Play bingo along with an instant win game that looks very like bingo but has prizes which are not related to the numbers of players taking part. Apart from occasional player promotions, the only real difference between Jumpman Gaming casinos with the Jumpman Slots branding and Jumpman bingo sites with the 15 Network branding is that the latter have the word bingo in their name.
An Impressive Collection of Slot Games
Before the launch of Jumpman Slots the selection of games at UK bingo and slot sites (the original Jumpman bingo sites included!) was often pretty dismal. Jumpman introduced UK players to exciting new slots from the likes of Elk, Yggdrasil, Pragmatic Play and Big Time Gaming alongside all their old favourites. They still add new games very frequently.
A Unique Welcome Offer
The unusual thing about the Jumpman Slots offer – which is available on subsequent deposits and as part of player promotions as well as on 1st deposit – is that it is a game of chance with no guaranteed win. It is called the Mega Reel and offers the chance to win up to 500 slot spins (or an Amazon voucher, in the version you spin on 1st deposit), but at least one space on the reel is Unlucky – No Win. Jumpman do not provide any information about the likelihood of the various outcomes.
The main advantage of this offer is the sheer entertainment value of spinning the reel and not knowing what (if anything) you will get. The popularity of Jumpman Gaming casinos shows that this clearly appeals to many players.
Do be aware, though, that should you win slot spins on the Mega Reel there are some pretty major strings attached:
- There is a limit on what you can win: the maximum convertible is the total of your lifetime deposits up to £250 (so on a first deposit of £10, it’s just £10). This means you can NEVER win more from playing with a bonus than you’ve already deposited in cash.
- The winnings from the slot spins are paid as a bonus which carries a rather hefty 65x wagering requirement and this can only be fulfilled via bonus play (cash play does not count).
- The bonus cannot be used to play any table games or progressive jackpot slots.
Although it appears that not all Jumpman sites have the Mega Reel, most of them do really. The other welcome offers, Loot Chests and the like, are mostly the same offer reskinned as a pick-me rather than a spin the wheel. The only real variation lies in which slot the spins are for; it’s most commonly Starburst but there are many cases where it’s a slot that matches the site theming.
In 2021 many Jumpman Slots sites added a no deposit spins offer and some others switched from the Mega Reel to the Match Up Bonus Wheel (same concept as the Mega Reel but instead of slot spins, it awards a deposit bonus of up to 1000% on the deposit the player just made). In 2022, a few Jumpman sites went on to a more straightforward deposit bonus offer (but only for the first deposit). With so many Jumpman sites to choose from, it’s great to see this type of innovation making them different from each other and we hope to see even more variations on the welcome offer in 2025.
Jumpman Slots Promotions
The promotions page on Jumpman Slots sites rarely changes; a permanent fixture is the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner promotion which awards a £50 Just Eat voucher each month to the player with the biggest single spin win (which we imagine to be very much bigger than £50!) and most of the other items on the page are to do with various opportunities to spin versions of the Mega Reel.
This doesn’t mean they don’t have any promotions, though – far from it! They are typically notified by email instead of being visible on the promotions page. Most are Mega Reel promotions with all prizes themed on a specific slot (e.g. a new release) or collection of slots (e.g. spooky slots for Halloween), but Jumpman have also run a number of mission based and leaderboard promotions from Yggdrasil and Pragmatic Play where opt-in takes place, progress or scoring is tracked and prizes given out inside the game.
Jumpman Gamification
The Jumpman gamification is another thing that is not really very obvious to the casual visitor. The Trophies page is publicly visible and it is possible to see that collecting trophies enables you to level up and claim extra spins of the Mega Reel, but it is only after login that the true scale of this is evident – there are literally hundreds of trophies to go for ranging from the trivially easy Over the Hump (play on a Wednesday) to the insanely difficult Fluffy Favourites Dream Team (Play Fluffy Favourites at the same time as someone else who wins £5000+). It would probably take years (and very large amounts of cash) to collect them all but if this kind of thing floats your boat you could have a lot of fun trying.
New for 2024 was another bit of gamification. The Rewards Reel was a free game that could be played twice a day. As well as occasional spot prizes of slot spins, it awarded symbols which could be collected over the course of a week to win slot spins if you completed a set. It’s now been replaced with a straightforward free daily game that just awards slot spins (or nothing, a lot of the time).
Jumpman – The Future
There are now more than 150 Jumpman powered slot and bingo sites and we do have to wonder whether there is really room in the market for many more. While there don’t appear to be any restrictions on claiming multiple Mega Reel offers at multiple Jumpman sites, it’s difficult to understand (even given the different welcome offers that are now appearing) why a player would want to sign up to lots of them given that they can take advantage of Mega Reel promotions on redeposits, make better progress on the Trophies page and increase the amount they can withdraw from Mega Reel wins up to a maximum of £250 if they just stick to one.
It wasn’t surprising, then, that the rate at which new Jumpman sites opened has slowed down a bit, and we expect this to continue in 2025 (especially as they have been busy moving all of their existing sites to a new lobby design. Perhaps Jumpman will direct their energies towards improving their range of games still further; the slots are already pretty impressive but the recent addition of a Casino tab suggests they may be planning to add more table, card and live casino games. And indeed, in Spring 2024 Playtech Live games were added, much improving the live casino offering – only for most of the live casino games including all the game shows to disappear from the lobby (you can still find them with the search box).
Thunderclouds are on the horizon for Jumpman, however.
At the end of 2025 gambling marketing regulations will change and the 65x wagering requirement that applies to all Jumpman bonuses will no longer be allowed in the UK. With a maximum wagering requirement of 10x from then on, major changes will need to be made to Jumpman promotions.
The entire Jumpman outfit has been sold and we expect the new owners to embark on a consolidation exercise, much as happened with Dragonfish after it was sold a couple of years back. We don’t expect to see any new Jumpman brands opened this year and we wouldn’t be surprised to see some older brands closed.
