Jackpotjoy

About Jackpotjoy

Jackpotjoy launched all the way back in 2002 which means it has been around for more than 20 years – no wonder it is a bit of a national institution! The earliest versions of the site bear little resemblance to the clean, mobile friendly layout of today, but the emphasis has always been very much on entertainment. Far from resting on their laurels, they are constantly adding new games and promotions. The site has won multiple awards including some for social responsibility and for the quality of the (now sadly defunct) chat team.

The only thing that Jackpotjoy was lacking as compared to other big names was a sportsbook, but that has now been well and truly rectified. As the ultimate ownership of Jackpotjoy and sister sites now rests with US sports betting and casino giant Bally’s, it was only a matter of time before sports betting came to the UK sites.

Getting Started at Jackpotjoy

A few years ago Jackpotjoy (along with other Gamesys sites) switched to a welcome offer where the only wagering requirement is the need to deposit and spend £10 in order to qualify in the first place. The offer, which comes in two versions, proved so popular that it has been in place ever since. You do, however, need to choose whether you want the bingo or slots version when you register (don’t wait until you deposit).

• The free bingo tickets in the bingo version of the offer can be used in most bingo rooms but as they have no specified value, theoretically the best value comes from redeeming them against £1 bingo tickets for a total of £50 worth of tickets. You might prefer, however, to redeem them against tickets with a lower face value but where there are fewer players so you have a better chance of winning.
• The free spins in the slot version of the offer are delightfully straightforward – play them and anything you win is yours to keep.

Bingo at Jackpotjoy

At first glance, you might think that Jackpotjoy is really more about the slot and casino games than about the bingo – especially as it doesn’t even have the word bingo in its name! The truth is, though, that Jackpotjoy has the biggest selection of bingo rooms of any Gamesys site. At the time of writing (September 2026) these include:

• Session Bingo 4 times a day
• Sapphire Bingo – the main 90 ball room with PowerBolts jackpots that drop every day
• Bubble Up Bingo – a 90 ball room with double prizes for winning on double numbers (e.g.33)
• Bingo 80 – with a retro theme
• Fishin’ Frenzy Bingo – a 90 ball bingo game with a bonus feature themed on the ever popular slot game
• Speed Bingo
• Cloud Bingo – a weekly game with a prize pool of £1000 and a bonus “charm” feature
• Snap Bingo – a playing card based bingo game
• SuperLinks – these games play at intervals throughout the day and link many bingo rooms at many Gamesys sites together. The prize money is substantial.
• Tiki, a penny bingo room
• Play Off Palace – daily and weekly free bingo games for players who have won eligible bingo games earlier in the day or week
• Several other 75 and 90 ball rooms (including some free bingo)

Tickets can be purchased for the next game or from the schedule up to 24 hours in advance. Return To Player on Gamesys bingo games is in the 80% – 85% range which is considerably better than at many other online bingo sites.

All of these bingo rooms have minigames by Roxor, who used to be the in house studio for Gamesys and whose games include Double Bubble, Secrets of the Phoenix and Tiki Totems.

Jackpotjoy used to have lively, hosted chat; one chat channel covered all of the bingo rooms and the other one appeared when you played a slot game. Unfortunately it’s all now been removed, which is a real shame.

Other Games at Jackpotjoy

Jackpotjoy doesn’t have the biggest range of slots on the UK market, but it’s very well curated. The Slots part of the lobby has many games carousels; you can sample top games from providers such as Yggdrasil, Playtech and PlayNGo, find all of the games in Pragmatic Play’s Drops & Wins promotion and browse categories like UK Favourites and Jackpotjoy Classics (which is mostly games by Roxor that were exclusive to Gamesys sites for many years). You can also browse through the full list of slot games. Each game tile has an info icon which you can activate to find out more about the game and for many games, logged in players can access a demo version.

There’s an entire separate lobby area for new games of all sorts, which is frequently updated.

Jackpots also have their own lobby area. There’s Rapid Fire and Jackpot King from Blueprint, Red Tiger hourly and daily jackpots, Age of the Gods from Playtech and several Gamesys exclusives some of which have jackpots well into 6 figures.

Also featured is the Gamesys exclusive on demand progressive jackpot system, Jackpot Blast. Opt into this and you’ll contribute 10p a spin to the four progressives when you play any of a number of popular games.

The Arcade lobby area splits the games into types including Tap & Scratchcards, Plinko & Mines and Crash & Cash Tower, making it really easy to find and try out new game genres, while the Slingo lobby area offers more than 40 variants of this much loved bingo-slots mashup.

Jackpotjoy also has a well appointed live casino with roulette, blackjack, game shows and much more from Evolution, Playtech and Pragmatic Play.

Finally, there is poker and it’s not just video poker where you play against the house, you can also join tournaments against other players.

Sports Betting at Jackpotjoy

The sportsbook at Jackpotjoy was added in mid 2024 so is relatively new. Like the sportsbook at sister site Bally Bet, it’s powered by Kambi group who also supply sportsbooks to the likes of LeoVegas and Unibet.

A set of nav icons across the top of the sportsbook help you find the most popular areas to bet in (including Roulette and Poker in case you got lost on the way to the casino part of the site!) As well as the likes of Premier League and Champions League, there’s an area for in-play betting and an acca hub which our resident sports betting expert assures me is outstanding and caters to both experts and beginners.

If you want to find more niche sports you can use the Explore menu option to bring up the A-Z which includes winter sports, motorsport, esports, Gaelic sports, TV & novelty bets and more. Then there’s the Live Now and Starting Soon menu options which help you find the events of the day.

There’s also an excellent virtual sports offering with various ball sports and racing (always worth a look just to see the names they invent for the virtual horses and greyhounds).

Other Things To Consider

Jackpotjoy also scores really well for player promotions, especially prize draws, but to participate in many of them you’ll need to be invited. All players can join in the daily Slot Masters tournaments and the new weekly loyalty scheme which awards various wheel spins depending on spend .

The site works well across all devices and there’s Android and iOS apps with biometric login for added safety and convenience when playing on mobile. The sign in screen on a computer includes a QR code which you can use to install the app on your phone.

The only really weak area at Jackpotjoy is that of payment methods; they accept debit cards only.

Final Thoughts

For sheer entertainment value, it’s hard to beat Jackpotjoy – especially now they have sports betting as well as everything else. No wonder the site has remained so successful for so long! If you’re one of the few players who doesn’t already have an account there, a treat is in store for you.  Shame about the chat though.
