GeckoPlay is a new for 2025 slots and casino site with a huge selection of more than 8000 games.
GeckoPlay was launched in 2025; it’s a white label casino on the Skill On Net platform which is well known for its huge and varied selection of games and its personalised player promotions. There are more than 40 Skill On Net casinos (though not all are available to UK players) with perhaps the best known being PlayOJO. Skill On Net themselves have been around for 20 years and have offices in 9 different countries.
The theming of GeckoPlay is so light as to be almost non existent. The welcome offer banner does have a lizard on it, but once you’ve signed up and deposited you won’t see that any more – all that’s left is a splash of bright green in the site design, for buttons and active menu items. Perhaps they will make a bit more use of the gecko when sending out communications.
One of the nice things about the registration process at GeckoPlay is that the welcome offer and its terms and conditions are visible throughout to remind you what you’re signing up to. Another nice thing is that if you’ve already got an account at any other Skill on Net casino, the system will recognise you from your phone number and date of birth, and skip you to the Quick Registration screen with no need to enter any further details as they’ll be populated from your other account. You then create a username and password; the system will suggest a username but you’ll probably want to pick something more memorable, and you can choose to generate a secure password or enter one yourself.
Agree to the terms and conditions and confirm you are over 18, and then all that remains to be done is to enter the verification code that’s been sent to your mobile, hit the Go Play button and deal with the pop up that asks you to confirm which marketing channels you’d like to opt into.
GeckoPlay has an absolutely huge collection of more than 8000 games, around 7400 of which are slot games. With a massive choice like that, it’s a good thing that there’s plenty of game categorisation in the lobby and a powerful search and filtering tool. None of this is immediately evident though as there’s only a few top level lobby tabs – Home, Slots, Live casino, Casino Games, Jackpots, Lite Play and Instants (note that this is not what you’ll see when you first land at the casino – it looks different after login).
Dig a little deeper and it’s a different story. For example, if you’re interested in new genres of game like crash games and Plinko, GeckoPlay caters for you – both of these have a section in the Home area of the lobby along with themed slot games sections like Let’s Go Fishing, Egyptian Wonders and Bookshelf (for all those “Book Of…” slots). Table games are also easy to find here, with separate sections for roulette, blackjack and game shows. There’s even a section for New Games: Staff Picks!
The Slots lobby area also has sub sections including New Slots, Megaways and recommendations. The Live Casino and Casino Games areas are also split into different types of game, and there’s even a section called Around The World for live casino games in languages other than English. What’s particularly impressive about the live casino provision is that there’s games from all of the big three providers Evolution, Playtech and Pragmatic Play as well as some from Stakelogic.
Given the total number of games on offer at GeckoPlay the Jackpots lobby tab is actually a bit of a disappointment. The two big jackpots on offer there are Age of the Gods and Jackpot King and there’s also Eyecon jackpots, but those are not as large as you’d expect. However, what’s in the Jackpots section is by no means all of the progressive slots they have – a quick search uncovered Relax Dream Drop and IGT Megajackpots and no doubt there are others tucked away in the far recesses of the lobby and findable via the game filtering tools (which we’ll come on to in a bit).
The Jackpots tab also features Red Tiger daily jackpots and Blueprint’s Rapid Fire Jackpots.
The Lite Play lobby category is a nice touch; it contains a selection of entry level and low stakes slots and live casino games.
Finally there is the Instants tab which is split into scratch, arcade, crash games, video poker, video bingo and “extra games” i.e. everything else including keno, plinko and minesweeper games. Slingo is not visible but again, a quick search turned up nearly 60 Slingo games.
Some Skill On Net casinos have bingo rooms, but GeckoPlay is not one of them
Returning to the top level of the lobby, we come to the search facilities and very splendid they are too. Click or tap on the magnifying glass icon to bring up the search box and you’ll see you can search on category and provider as well as on game name. The real power, however, lies in the filter icon that appears next to the search box. Click or tap on that and you’ll find you can select games by game provider, game type, game tag, star rating, minimum and maximum stake and any combination thereof. It’s so powerful and so easy to use that once you discover it, you’ll probably go straight there to find games rather than browse through the lobby.
An easy to use and easy to navigate lobby, then, which also has advanced search and filtration – and let’s not forget that the game tiles themselves have a heart icon which you can activate to add to your favourites, and an information icon which you can activate to bring up a pop up which tells you about the features of the game and how often it’s been played recently, with screenshots and a star rating, There’s nothing about RTP though – you have to open the game and look in the help files to find that, which we strongly suggest you do as some games such as Book of Dead have a lower RTP here than you might expect.
Promotions at GeckoPlay are run by the Skill On Net network and are tailored to your personal play style, so there’s no promotions page as such. Instead, you’ll be sent offers via the marketing channels you opted into or via the Daily Picks page which is accessible from the main menu when logged in. If you haven’t yet made a deposit you may very well find that there’s nothing there. If the quality of the promotions is important to you when deciding which casino to play at, this could be an issue as you won’t get a proper idea of your promotions until after you’ve signed up, deposited and played.
You can also participate in the slot tournaments that are run across the network.
Support is via live chat which you can activate via the menu. Prior to starting a chat you’ll be shown the FAQ in case your question is resolvable there. Unfortunately, there’s surprisingly little information about some things. For example, they say they aim to process withdrawals in a few hours but give no idea of how long a withdrawal actually takes to arrive in your account.
The sheer number and variety of games on offer and the sophisticated search and filtering tools in the lobby make GeckoPlay a great choice if those things are important to you. It’s also got a great welcome offer (albeit with wagering requirements) which will no doubt prove very attractive to players.
At Best New Bingo Sites all of our reviews are completely honest and written by industry experts. We aim to present all our offers as transparently as possible with a full explanation of the terms and conditions. We receive commission from the sites we feature and this may affect how prominently they appear on our site and their position in our listings.
30x bonus / spins winnings on slots, some games excluded
The Responsible Gaming policy document at GeckoPlay is supplied by the network. It’s a plain text document that lays out the safer gambling tools they offer, gives advice on protecting access to your account and includes links to outside sources of help.
The safer gambling tools are just the usual deposit limits, reality check, cooling off and self exclusion but they also have Skill On Net’s flagship tool SafeMate which tracks your playing behaviour for the last 6 months across all their casinos, compares you to other players and scores you for risk. You can also configure it to send you personalised alerts.
