Playtech Live Slots - The Next Big Thing?

A few days before Christmas (19th December to be precise), Playtech quietly launched their brand new Live Slots concept.

2. Likely to be of much more interest to bingo players (i.e. you) than blackjack, roulette or any other of those card or table games

The first Playtech slot game to get the Live Slots treatment is Buffalo Blitz, which was originally released in 2016.  It’s a 4096 way slot played on a 6 x 4 reels array and was clearly inspired by the cult slot Raging Rhino by WMS – so quite an exciting, high variance game.

How To Play Buffalo Blitz Live

In Live Slots, everyone plays the same spins together and wins or loses together.  To join in, select your stake level (40p, 80p or £1.20 a spin) and set autoplay for the number of spins you’d like to participate in (10,20,30,50, 70 or 99).  You’ll need to set a loss limit and if you like, you can also set a single win limit after which the autoplay will stop, or else set it to stop after the bonus round.

The game is displayed on a big screen and there’s a live host and player chat making for a much more sociable experience than regular slot play.  Where this really comes into its own is when the bonus round is triggered, and the game has also been enhanced with some special bonus round graphics.  It’s quite something else to participate in a really impressive bonus round along with several other players while the live host cheers you on!
