Christmas 2022 at Tombola

At Tombola they always really push the boat out when it comes to Christmas promotions, and this year is no exception!  Here’s just some of what’s happening:

Tombola Advent Calendar

The tombola Advent Calendar has been an institution in the world of online bingo for many years.  Replacing the usual free daily game, it’s a match 3 game that runs up until Christmas Eve, with a door to be opened revealing a symbol every day.  Collect three of the same symbol to win.  Play every day and you’re guaranteed to win at least one prize.

The prizes are £5000, £1000, £500, £100, £50, £20 or £10 cash, or £5 bonus.

To qualify for the Advent Calendar you need to have played £2 cash on bingo or arcade during November or December.  Until the 3rd, you can qualify retroactively and open the doors for 1st and 2nd as well as 3rd, but after that every door needs to be opened on the correct day or you’ll miss out.

Tombola Christmas Raffle

The tombola Christmas raffle starts on December 5th and runs until 1st January 2023.  It’s free to enter for anyone with an account at tombola who’s opted into receiving promotional text messages (the deadline for doing so is 11pm on the Sunday before each weekly raffle).  You’ll get your ticket via text message on the Monday – check it against the raffle promo page to see if you have won one of the 70+ prizes each week.  The prizes include chocolate hampers, iPhones and a £2000 cash prize.

Big Money Games

There’s a lot of these in December and these are just the 90 ball specials:

• Britain’s Biggest Bingo – the only game at tombola to have pre-buy, this 90 ball game runs at 9pm on the 1st of January with just one prize, guaranteed to be at least £100,000.  A few hours before the 1st December game, the prize stood at more than £180,000.  Tickets cost 50p a strip with a maximum of 4 strips per player and the game has a Return To Player of 100%, with all money from ticket sales paid out to the winner.
• bingo90 The Big Link – £20,000 guaranteed full house prize in the 9pm game on 2nd December
• bingo90 Cash Climber – 11 games to take place between 9pm and 10pm on 5th December, all with guaranteed full house prizes.  For the first 5 games it is £5000, for the second 5 it is £10,000 and for the final game it is £20,000.
• Back 2 Back Lite Links – this takes place in bingoLite (tombola’s low cost 90 ball room where tickets are 10p a strip) between 8pm and 8.30pm on 1st December.  5 games with a guaranteed full house prize of £500 will be followed by one game with a guaranteed full house prize of £1000.
• Lite Links Weekend – this takes place in bingoLite between 9pm and 10pm on 10th and 11th December, when all of the games will have guaranteed £500 full house prizes.
• The Big Lite Link – £2000 guaranteed full house in the 9pm game in bingoLite on 19th December
• bingo90 The Big Link (again) – £15,000 guaranteed full house prize in the 9pm game on 19th December
• bingo90 The Big Christmas Link – £20,000 guaranteed full house prizes in the 9pm and 9.30pm games on 23rd December
• Lite Links – again in bingoLite, from 26th – 30th December the 11am and 11.30am games will have guaranteed £500 full house prizes.

New Games

Well, not new games as such, but a revamp and a return.  The revamp is bingo50, which is now themed on popping bubble wrap (yes, really!).  And the return is Winter Spotlight; it hasn’t happened yet but there’s a teaser banner for it on site.

Tombola Arcade

At tombola Arcade the month starts with the Winter Wonder prize draw on 1st December.  If you’ve ever participated in a tombola Arcade prize draw before you will know the form – opt in and play £1 on any arcade games between 8pm and 10pm (to keep it fair, only one entry per player is allowed).  The top prize is £1000 cash and there’s also 5000 x 20 freeplays and 10,000 x 10 freeplays to be won.

A new game category has also been added – Keno – comprising an existing game plus the brand new Numbers game.

Lots going on then, and that’s without including any of the social media promotions!
