The Online Casino has been around since 2018 but it was originally on another platform. It’s recently reopened as a Progress Play casino.
The Online Casino was originally launched back in 2018, on the Nektan platform (now Grace Media). That version of the site closed in June 2020. The new Progress Play version hasn’t carried over the player base, so if you had an account at the Nektan version you should be able to sign up afresh and collect the welcome offer again.
It has to be said that the new version of this somewhat unimaginatively named site is vastly superior to the old one. For a start, it’s got a sportsbook attached (quite an impressive one, with thousands of events to bet on). The promotions are also much more numerous than at the old version, including plenty of regularly changed, multi use bonus codes as well as slot leaderboards and cashback offers. There’s something to do on pretty well every day of the week and that’s without even looking at the sportsbook promotions (of which there are many).
What else is good at The Online Casino? Essentially, there’s a decent selection of slot games including progressive jackpots (most but not all of these are courtesy of Eyecon), new releases and many evergreen favourites. As well as the various games sections, there’s the option to search for games by name or filter by provider (although not both at the same time) and all this makes it much easier to find games you want to play.
There’s also a live casino area (with gameshows, roulette, blackjack and other games by Evolution and Playtech) and a suprisingly well appointed casual games area with scratchcards, virtual sports, video bingo, lotto style games and other instant win titles.
Apart from a very minor cosmetic maekover the Progress Play platform itself hasn’t changed for some time; it may look a bit old fashioned bu the upside is that it is reliable and works well across all devices.
Finally there is a good choice of payment methods, including mobile phone billing (albeit with a rather hefty processing fee).
A fairly standard Progress Play casino, then, but a big improvement on its previous incarnation.
