At Mr Vegas there are literally thousands of slot and casino games to choose from, plus a schedule of Encores (in which you play slots against other players)

About Mr Vegas

Mr Vegas comes from the same crew as Videoslots, which should explain a lot about the scale and layout of the site. Between the two brands, they’ve definitely got a reputation for packing in thousands of games and running slot tournaments 24/7 – and Mr Vegas absolutely follows suit.

It’s got what I’d call one of the most informative lobbies in the business. The site’s not flashy or overly themed, but you can tell straight away that it’s built for people who actually care about the games, not just the promo banners.

What I especially love about this site is that there’s also a ton of emphasis on transparency here – especially around bonus terms and RTP. It’s really something that sets Mr Vegas apart from 90% of its rivals.

Getting Started at Mr Vegas

Registering at Mr Vegas is a pretty quick process. Standard stuff – name, email, date of birth, address, phone number – then you verify your details. In my case, verification happened automatically, but if it doesn’t, you’ll just need to upload ID and proof of address.

It’s also worth noting that you need to opt in to the welcome bonus in the “My Bonuses” section after registering – it doesn’t apply by default.

There’s no SMS verification required and you can use a variety of payment methods right off the bat, including PayPal. You’ll be prompted to set deposit limits early on, as well.

Slot Games at Mr Vegas

This is where the site truly delivers. Mr Vegas has over 8,000 games on offer, which is far more than almost any other UK-licensed casino I’ve visited. The average casino might have 1,500 to 3,000 slots. Even the big hitters tend to cap out around 5,000. So, hitting the 8k mark is genuinely impressive to me.

You’ve got titles from Games Global, NetEnt, Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, Blueprint, Red Tiger, Hacksaw, Push Gaming, Relax, Thunderkick, Wazdan, and many more. They’ve also got smaller indie studios mixed in alongside the big ones, so you get a healthy blend of mainstream hits and weirder, offbeat mechanics.

The slot lobby is divided into Hot, New, Popular, and Featured. I wasn’t expecting much from that setup, but it’s actually surprisingly effective. “Hot” seems to pull from what’s trending across all players. “New” is updated daily with fresh titles. “Popular” highlights consistent favourites. And “Featured” is like a curated list of underrated or interesting picks you might’ve missed otherwise.

There’s also a “Last Played” filter along the bottom of the screen that I found incredibly handy – something I wish more casinos offered.

Here’s where it gets a bit annoying, though: with 8,000+ games, you really need some robust filters. But apart from those four main categories and a provider filter, you can’t browse by game features or themes. No options for volatility, paylines, mechanics so it’s a bit of a blind scroll unless you already know what you’re looking for. Still, you can favourite games easily and they’ll appear in a separate tab, which helps a bit.

Something else that’s really interesting here is the Game Payouts section, that’s genuinely one of the most useful tools I’ve seen at any casino – showing you the actual RTP of each game, whether it’s rising or falling, and what features it includes. It’s like a supercharged version of “hot and cold” lists, but with real data.

In the Jackpots section, you’ll find a good mix from Red Tiger, Games Global, Relax, and Blueprint, but there’s no counters on the tiles. You’ll need to load up each game to see what the current pot is, which isn’t ideal.

The live casino is excellent, too. You’ve got the big three providers here – Evolution, Playtech, and Pragmatic Play – which means you can choose from a massive selection of blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and live game shows like Crazy Time, Mega Wheel, and Adventures Beyond Wonderland. The selection easily rivals what you’d get at specialist live casinos.

There’s also a decent spread of video poker, table games, crash games and Plinko-style titles in the Arcade section – if you’re after something a bit different.

Other Things to Consider

One of the most unique features at Mr Vegas is the Encore tournaments. These are multiplayer slot competitions with real cash and spins up for grabs. Some run on fixed schedules, others are Sit & Go style with just 10 players. Buy-ins can be as low as 50p, and the Encore lobby has full filters by prize type, game, and status (e.g. “Upcoming” or “In Progress”).

There’s always several tournaments running at once, so you can log in almost any time of day and have options.

Then you’ve got Rainbow Fridays – a weekly reward based on your slot and live casino wagering over the past seven days. It’s not a random cashback either; the payout is tied to the RTP of the games you’ve played and is calculated down to the penny. And, it’s awarded to your real-money balance so no wagering requirements!

There’s also The Wheel of Vegas, which gives you a shot at Mini, Major or Mega Jackpots whenever you spin on eligible games. Spins on the Wheel are randomly awarded and appear in your “My Prizes” tab when triggered. Again, not something you’ll be guaranteed to see every session, but it’s a nice touch – and adds a bit of suspense when you’re mid-session.

As for the bonus structure – it’s unlike anything else. You need to complete the wagering requirement BEFORE receiving the bonus, but not all in one go – it is released 10% at a time, so you can use the earlier instalments towards wagering for the later instalments. The wagering works differently too:

  • The rate at which a game contributes to the wagering requirement is tied to its RTP. 96% RTP is the baseline and all games with precisely that RTP contribute 100% to wagering requirements. When the RTP is higher the contribution is lower, and when the RTP is lower the contribution is higher – it changes by 0.25% for each 0.01% the RTP is away from 96%. There’s a contribution ceiling of 175% and a contribution floor of 25%.
  • For example, if your bonus is £100 and you play Bonanza which has RTP of 96%, your wagering requirement is a straightforward 35x bonus, so £3500. But if you play Big Bass Bonanza Megaways which has RTP of 94.6%, that’s 1.4% away. The contribution changes by 0.25% x 140 = 35%, so your play contributes at 135% towards the wagering requirement and instead of having to play through £3500, you only have to play through £2593.
  • What happens if you want to play a high RTP slot like 1429 Uncharted Seas (which many online casinos won’t let you play at all with an active bonus)? It has RTP of 98.6% which is 2.6% away from 96%. The contribution changes by o.25% x 260 = 65%, so your play contributes at 35% to the wagering requirement and you now have to play through £10,000 to fill it.

This refreshingly different approach means players can play almost any game they like with a bonus. If a player tries to play one of the few games that can’t be played with a bonus active, they will get a warning pop-up (same as if they try to stake too much), so it’s not possible to break the rules by accident.

There aren’t tons of other promotions beyond that, but what’s here is genuinely valuable and doesn’t feel like filler.

Final Thoughts

Mr Vegas is an incredibly well put together online slot site. If you’re the kind of player who values game variety, real data, and meaningful, achievable rewards, I would say it’s a brilliant choice.

The 8,000+ slot library alone would be enough for most players, but the Encore tournaments, Rainbow Fridays, and unique wagering system take it to another level.

Of course, it’s not perfect. Filtering could definitely be better with a games selection that’s so big, jackpot counters on the progressive game tiles would be helpful – but the core experience is strong. From my time on site, it’s clear that Mr Vegas was built with serious players in mind.
