Barz Casino is a White Hat Gaming slot and casino site that was launched in 2021. It’s got a sleek, uncluttered lobby with more than 2000 different slot and casino games to choose from.
Some White Hat Gaming casinos have very detailed and pervasive theming but despite the rather distinctive purple of the logo Barz is not one of them; the design is all about usability on a small screen so there’s no fancy fonts, backgrounds or anything like that.
The lobby categories are stacked vertically, with horizontal scrolling/swiping to bring more game tiles into view, and each has a Show All Games button to navigate to the category in question. The arrangement is the same on a desktop computer but with a row of more conventional lobby tabs at the top so you can go straight to the section you want.
As well as the usual sort of game categories – popular, new, Pragmatic Drops & Wins, table games and live dealer (which contains games by Evolution, Pragmatic Play & Authentic Gaming) – there’s an area for seasonal games (Halloween etc) plus the Providers area where activating a game provider logo tile brings up all of the games by that provider. So there’s already lots of ways to look for games to play without using the search box. When you do get round to trying the search box you’ll find that even more games categories pop up, including one called Scratch & Fun which is where you’ll find Slingo, video bingo, minesweeper and crash games. And if you still can’t decide what to play, there’s always the “Play A Random Game” button.
Oddly, there’s no lobby area for progressive jackpots; usually when an online casino doesn’t have one of these it’s because it doesn’t have any progressive jackpots or they are not very impressive, but the reverse is true at Barz. The most cursory of searches shows that they have Mega Moolah, WowPot, Jackpot King and Dream Drop which should be plenty enough to keep anyone happy (don’t play these games with your bonus, though, as they don’t count towards wagering requirements).
The promotions page at Barz showcases their loyalty points program and there’s also various prize draws you can enter but in each case, a fairly substantial deposit is required in order to qualify and start collecting points as you play, and a fairly substantial number of points are required to collect a draw ticket. So not for the casual player.
Barz has a Help Centre but it is not particularly easy to find; it can be accessed from the Contact Us page which is linked from the menu. It’s not actually that helpful either as it’s an international help centre covering locations where they operate under a Malta or Ontario licence as well as the UK. This means that some of the topics covered (Pay N Play for instance) are not relevant to UK players and the answers to other queries (e.g what deposit methods are available) are not very specific. There’s a live chat facility you can use instead.
If the idea of a huge selecton of more than 2000 games plus mobile first lobby design appeals to you, Barz is certainly worth checking out
40x (deposit + bonus) on slots, excluding progressive jackpots. There’s a long list of other excluded games plus a few that only count at 20% towards wagering. Cash play does not contribute.
The Responsible Gambling Policy at Barz can be accessed from the site footer. It’s White Hat Gaming’s standard policy and is extremely well presented and comprehensive, explaining when and why you might want to use safer gambling tools as well as how. They have extra tools over and above what is required, including a time out tool that can be set on a weekly schedule in one hour blocks and/or to apply a block on payday (whether that’s weekly, monthly or whatever). Self exclusion applies to all White Hat Gaming sites, not just Barz.
