Sue Dawson has been writing for Best New Bingo Sites since its launch back in 2013.  After all this time, she’s still full of enthusiasm for the great British game of bingo, not to mention being a fount of detailed information about it in all its various forms; she’s particularly interested in the underlying maths of bingo and also in the community aspect of the game.  She knows a fair amount about slots too!

Online for more than 25 years, Sue was an avid player of multiplayer games and active in many gaming forums before she discovered real money gaming. Offline, her interests include board games, motorsport, science fiction and Scottish dancing; she’s managed social media channels for the British national science fiction convention and appeared in instructional Scottish dancing videos, some of which have racked up tens of thousands of views on YouTube.  She lives in South West London with her husband and son.

Sue’s extensive knowledge of the iGaming industry has made her an instantly recognisable figure at conferences and other events, online and offline.  She has spoken at SBC and Affiverse events, helped judge the iGB Affiliate Awards and SBC Awards (the latter on several occasions) and is a member of the iGB Executive industry focus group.

Sue appeared in person at iGB Live in July 2022 as part of a panel on the UK Gambling Act’s (at that stage still to be published) White Paper and subsequently wrote a piece for iGB about operator-affiliate relations.  Her most recent published piece for them is a conference survival guide for industry people!  You can read more about iGB Live on her blog.

Sue’s most recent in person appearance was at SBC CasinoBeats Malta in May 2024, on the “Bingo – it’s all about numbers” panel.  She was also recently interviewed for SBC’s Casino Beats web site about AI and affiliation and for their “Affiliate Leaders” series.

In October 2024, Sue was present at the EGR Operator Awards to accept the Bingo Affiliate award on behalf of Best New Bingo Sites’ parent organisation FTD Digital.
