Jackpotjoy launched all the way back in 2002 which means it has been around for more than 20 years – no wonder it is a bit of a national institution! The earliest versions of the site bear little resemblance to the clean, mobile friendly layout of today, but the emphasis has always been very much on entertainment. Far from resting on their laurels, they are constantly adding new games and promotions. The site has won multiple awards including some for social responsibility and for the quality of the chat team.

The only thing that Jackpotjoy was lacking as compared to other big names was a sportsbook, but that has now been well and truly rectified. As the ultimate ownership of Jackpotjoy and sister sites now rests with US sports betting and casino giant Bally’s, it was only a matter of time before sports betting came to the UK sites.

Getting Started at Jackpotjoy

A few years ago Jackpotjoy (along with other Gamesys sites) switched to a welcome offer where the only wagering requirement is the need to deposit and spend £10 in order to qualify in the first place. The offer, which comes in two versions, proved so popular that it has been in place ever since. You do, however, need to choose whether you want the bingo or slots version when you register (don’t wait until you deposit).

• The free bingo tickets in the bingo version of the offer can be used in most bingo rooms but as they have no specified value, theoretically the best value comes from redeeming them against £1 bingo tickets for a total of £50 worth of tickets. Bingo at Jackpotjoy

At first glance, you might think that Jackpotjoy is really more about the slot and casino games than about the bingo – especially as it doesn’t even have the word bingo in its name! The truth is, though, that Jackpotjoy has the biggest selection of bingo rooms of any Gamesys site. At the time of writing (May 2025) these include:

Tickets can be purchased for the next game or from the schedule up to 24 hours in advance. Return To Player on Gamesys bingo games is in the 80% – 85% range which is considerably better than at many other online bingo sites.

Sports Betting at Jackpotjoy

The sportsbook at Jackpotjoy was added in mid 2024 so is quite new. Like the sportsbook at sister site Bally Casino, it’s powered by Kambi group who also supply sportsbooks to the likes of LeoVegas and Unibet.

Other Things To Consider

Jackpotjoy also scores really well for player promotions, especially prize draws, but to participate in most of them you’ll need to be invited. All players can join in the daily Slot Masters tournaments and also have the choice of 4 daily free games; these are designed to be played every day for a week and you collect sets of symbols to win free spins or cash.

The site works well across all devices and there’s Android and iOS apps with biometric login for added safety and convenience when playing on mobile. The sign in screen on a computer includes a QR code which you can use to install the app on your phone.

The only arguably weak area at Jackpotjoy is that of payment methods; they accept debit cards only.
