Unfortunately we can't bring you an offer for Fortune Fiesta at the moment. We're working to fix this, but in the meantime please visit our UK Slot Sites page for a full list of other great offers
Fortune Fiesta is a Dragonfish slot site with a Mexican party theme and an attractive player rewards system featuring the Fortune Fiesta Wheel (which has no losing segments).
IMPORTANT – Fortune Fiesta (along with all of Zenzero Limited’s other Dragonfish sites) will have a change of ownership in Summer 2024. It’s unlikely that the new owner will retain Star Rewards.
Fortune Fiesta hasn’t had to tone its theming down as much as most other Dragonfish sites. The moustachioed dancing cactus in a brightly coloured sombrero clearly wasn’t considered likely to appeal to anyone underage, and certainly gives the site a fun flavour. And indeed Fortune Fiesta is all about fun, from the gamification inherent in the player rewards scheme to the selection of games.
Let’s look at the player rewards scheme first as it’s the main thing that makes Fortune Fiesta different from other Dragonfish sites, or rather from most other Dragonfish sites (it’s shared with other Dragonfish casinos and bingo sites under the same ownership, that of Zenzero Limited). What makes Star Rewards so great? Well, there’s a couple of things:
To qualify for the lowest level rewards, you’ll need to deposit and wager the fairly modest sum of £25.
What about the selection of games? The emphasis on fun there shows in that it’s basically slots only with a few Slingo and instant win games thrown in; there’s no casino games of any kind. If you’ve played at a Dragonfish site before but not recently, it won’t be the selection of slot games you expect either; ever since the purchase of 888’s entire bingo business by Broadway Gaming (operators of Butler’s Bingo) the range of slot games at Dragonfish sites has been slowly changing. For a start, just as you’d expect there’s no longer any of 888’s own games in the lineup (Millionaire Genie was perhaps the best known of these but there were many). All the games by IGT, NetEnt and Red Tiger have also gone, so there’s no Cleopatra, no Starburst and none of those insanely popular daily jackpot games. Plenty of familar titles remain though, including several versions of both Rainbow Riches and Big Bass Bonanza. And in comes a huge selection of Microgaming back catalogue games from Games Global.
Fortune Fiesta has more than 50 progressive jackpot slots, but they are all by just one provider, Eyecon.
All these games are housed in a lobby that’s clearly been designed for phone screens and has very little games categorisation, or information about each game apart from the name, image and whether it’s real money only. The upside of this is that the lobby is simple to use, with no clutter and no illegible small print. The downside is that you have to load up a game and look in the help files to find out the RTP, and that you’ll probably be doing a lot of scrolling or searching if the game you want isn’t in the Popular tab or on the main page.
Another thing that’s simple to use at Dragonfish sites is their bonuses, and the major downside they used to have – high wagering requirements – is now a thing of the past as all Dragonfish slots wagering requirements were cut to a very reasonable 35x in Summer 2023. Spins offers at Dragonfish have an expiry but once you’ve used your spins and collected the winnings as a bonus it is valid indefinitely as long as you continue to log in and play regularly. There’s also no need to look up and remember any list of games that don’t contribute to the wagering requirements; games which are marked Real Money Only in the lobby can’t be played with bonus at all and everything else counts at 100%.
The drawback of Dragonfish? They are really slow to add new releases; for example, although they have several Big Bass games, more than a year after its release Big Bass Splash hadn’t been added. And although they are clearly working closely with Games Global, even their new releases haven’t been arriving at Dragonfish until months later.
If you like to try out new slot games as soon as they are released, Fortune Fiesta or any other Dragonfish site is not going to hit the mark. For the more casual player, though, Fortune Fiesta could be just the thing. It’s especially great for iPhone users as you can deposit safely and securely using Apple Pay with your phone’s biometrics (fingerprint or facial recognition).
35 x bonus
All Dragonfish sites have the same Responsible Gaming content which can be accessed from the site footer or from account settings inside the lobby (you’ll find it under “useful links”). It lays out and explains how to use the safer gambling tools – deposit limits, take a break, reality check and self exclusion (which would be from all Dragonfish sites not just Fortune Fiesta). It also refers to Loss Limits and Win Limits but doesn’t explain how to set them (possibly via customer services?)
