National Bingo Day is coming up later this month on 27th June, with a whole week of celebration expected to take place this year. Until then, it’s all about the Euros!

Bingo Specials

Virtue Fusion bingo sites have the £280,000 Footy Bingo Room which runs whenever there’s a match on, each time with a series of 22 qualifying games plus a big prize game. If there’s a 2pm match the qualifying games run from 2pm till 3.45pm with a ticket price of 10p and the big prize game at 3.50pm, if there’s a 5pm match they run from 5pm till 6.45pm with a ticket price of 2p and the big prize game at 6.50pm, and for the 8pm match they run from 8pm till 9.45pm with a ticket price of 5p and the big prize game at 9.50pm.

In all of these 90 ball games, you can win line and full house prizes of cash plus tickets to big prize games and there’s also 1TG/2TG shares.  In the qualifying games, you can win tickets to the big prize game at the end of the session.  In the full time shootout games (apart from the final game on 26th June) you can win tickets to the next big prize game (which might be the next day).

To activate tickets that you have won you’ll need to log in to claim them before the big prize game in question plays.  They don’t count towards maximum ticket purchase so if you like, you can also buy up to 36 tickets for each big prize game (they cost 20p each). Full house prizes in the afternoon and early evening big prize games are £1000 and in the evening game it’s £1500.

The Footy Bingo games also play in the network 90 ball room.

Pragmatic Play bingo sites have the Double Take bingo room which is open from 7pm till 8pm every evening in June.  Tickets are priced at 10p each and it’s Buy 6 Get 6 Free (if you buy 11 tickets, for example, you will only get 6 free but if you buy 12 tickets you’ll get 12 free, so make sure you buy a multiple of 6 for best value). Each game has a guaranteed prize pool of £100.

At Jackpotjoy there’s Month of National Bingo, a live show with interactive quiz games that is streamed into the Sapphire bingo chat room every evening in June from 8pm for 45 minutes on some days and 1 hour on others. During the show, every bingo game has TG prizes as well as line and full house.

Standout Promotions

Match of the Free Plays is a Euros themed promotion at tombola arcade, running 17th – 21st and 24th – 25th June.  It’s set up as a tournament in which 8 of their proprietary slot games go head to head to see which is most popular, but that’s just to make it more entertaining – to enter the daily draw (which has one prize of £1000 cash) you opt in and play £2 on the two games in the head to head for that day.

At Heart Bingo there’s several Lucky Dips for the Euros.  These are essentially sweepstakes where you place a bet on an outcome such as who’s going to be the first goal scorer in the final or which team will win the tournament, and then spin the wheel to find out which player or team the bet’s going on.  That’s in addition to all of the open the box and spin the wheel style promos they are constantly running (including a couple of Euro themed ones).

New Bingo Games

It’s not a brand new game, but bingo60 at tombola has had a major makeover to make it more mobile friendly.  (In fact, the entire tombola site has had a makeover and even more arcade games are now mixed up with the bingo).

The big news this month is the launch of Bingo Plus with an offer that is exclusive to us – it’s not often that something so truly new and different arrives in the world of online bingo!

The other news isn’t so great.  Behind the scenes, two more groups of Dragonfish bingo sites that were previously independently owned have changed hands and another one is due to be taken back in house by Broadway Gaming in the near future.  We expect this to result in the removal of exclusive bingo rooms and promotions so there is even less variety between Dragonfish brands and (probably) more closures of Dragonfish sites.

New Slot Games

The latest instalment in the adventures of everyone’s favourite naughty teddy bear is now out.  Ted Afterparty is a 50 line slot which eschews the many different bonus rounds of the original game and instead has just two – one awards 10 free spins and the other has a cash collect game mechanic (where the aim is to collect lots of Ted Cash symbols and win the amounts shown on them which can include one of the four jackpots).  The RTP is a bit disappointing too, at 93.04%.

Also recently released are Sweet Bonanza 1000 (an even higher variance sequel to the original game) and Tome of Insanity (PlayNGo’s latest episode in the adventures of Rich Wilde from Book of Dead).  And yet another Big Bass game, Big Bass Bonanza Reel Action, has also arrived at UK sites; it’s included in the latest iteration of Pragmatic Play’s Drops and Wins promotion which has now been running for five whole years.

There’s also a couple of new Slingo games.  Day of the Dab is genuinely new (and has a bit more interesting gameplay in the base game than most other Slingo games, and Slingoooal! Championship is a Euros themed reskin of the earlier game Slingoooal!
