OK Magazine’s bingo site is back in business after a four year hiatus. It’s now on Jumpman, with bingo rooms by Pragmatic Play plus Bingo Millions and a massive range of slot games.
This latest incarnation is a new departure for a site with a long history; OK Bingo was originally launched way back in 2009 on the long defunct Cyber Bingo software and its second appearance was in Summer 2013 on the GTech platform.
At the time we couldn’t help thinking that the celebrity magazine had made the wrong choice of software; the welcome offer was pretty dismal and there were only a couple of bingo rooms.
It nevertheless survived in that form for a couple of years until the demise of GTech itself before entering its second hiatus, this time for the best part of 5 years.
So have they got it right this time? Well, it depends what you are looking for in a bingo site. They’ve certainly captured the spirit of the famed magazine. An absolutely ecstatic woman greets visitors on the home page with her fist clenched…presumably in celebration at winning a round of bingo. Underneath is a scrolling marquee of the latest winners.
The Pragmatic Play bingo software is a great product but the bingo rooms don’t have the critical mass of players you’d find at a Virtue Fusion bingo site so with the exception of a few regular jackpot games, most of the prizes are on the small side.
It’s also a network product so there’s no OK Bingo specific chat. If you like to play slots with the occasional bit of bingo, though, it may very well hit the mark.
