JeffBet is brand new for spring 2022. It’s a casino and sportsbook on the Progress Play platform.
The Progress Play platform is very well established now and we have found it to be most popular with players when it includes a sportsbook as well as a casino – which JeffBet does. The platform has been developed to work well on both mobile and desktop devices and you can use mobile phone billing to fund your account (albeit rather expensively).
First, a word about the sportsbook. There’s typically more than 2000 events available to bet on, split between a Live tab and a Pre-Match tab so you can see what’s on now and what’s coming up soon (the live calendar shows you how soon). As well as a comprehensive range of football bets, there’s plenty of e-sports, horse racing and less high profile sports such as table tennis. You can switch between classic and modern view (the latter is an uncluttered, light mode view that is ideal for use on mobile devices) and between decimal, fractional and 4 other ways of displaying odds. A fully featured and eminently user friendly product, then.
Back to the casino. The games are classified in the classic Progress Play manner into slots, casino, live, jackpots and casual, plus areas for new games and featured games (this last tab is where you’ll find evergreen player favourites like Book of Dead, Immortal Romance, Rainbow Riches, Bonanza and Starburst as well as the most popular recent releases). The Casino tab has various versions of RNG roulette, blackjack and other table games. The Vegas tab has slot games by Playtech (added in 2023). The Live tab has live casino by Evolution and Playtech, now including some game shows (this was previously a weak point at Progress Play but the addition of Playtech games to the lineup has rectified it). Finally there is the Casual tab with a decent selection of scratchcards, lotto style games, virtual sports and other instant win titles.
The Slots tab lists the games in what appears to be order of popularity but it’s easy enough to narrow it down and find the games you want to play by using the search box or filtering by provider. The Jackpots tab has plenty of choice, with more than 50 games included (most but not all of them are by Eyecon which does mean you’ve got multiple games attached to the same jackpot).
The welcome offer at JeffBet doesn’t have any wagering requirements but this doesn’t extend to the cornucopia of redeposit bonus and spins offers on the promotions page (which are set by the network and come with the standard Progress Play 50x wagering requirement). They do have some weekly cashback offers as well, though, so if you wanted to to avoid wagering requirements on deposits after the first one those would be the ones to go for. On the sports side, there’s a selection of cashback offers for depositing and betting on specific sports.
Other promotions include sports and slots leaderboards.
Despite being on a very well known and well established casino platform, then, JeffBet offers something a bit different with the inclusion of a sportsbook and the lack of wagering requirements on the welcome offer (and subsequent offers if you choose carefully). What’s not to like!
Jeffbet has a Progress Play standard “Play Responsibly” page linked from the site footer and there’s also a Responsible Gambling section in the terms & conditions. They offer daily, weekly and monthly wager and loss limits as well as deposit limits and there’s an explanation of how to use all the safer gambling tools but no direct links. The document also contains the usual advice and links to external sources of help but does not go into as much detail about this matters as some others do.
