Hollywoodbets is a sportsbook and casino, originally from South Africa, which arrived in the UK in 2019 and now has a great new casino welcome offer. Be aware that in order to claim the no wagering spins you must first play 10 spins on a specific game at spin value £1.

The shop presence of Hollywoodbets is in South Africa (where they have more than 90 retail outlets some of which date back more than 20 years), but they have an offline presence in the UK as well as online, in the form of their partnership with Brentford FC. Back in South Africa, they also run the Hollywood Foundation which donated to more than 800 charitable organisations in 2021, supporting educational growth and development and grassroots sports. An operator with impressive credentials, then.

The casino is not just an afterthought to the sportsbook (which, by the way, is excellent – it covers international horse racing, football and a range of other sports and esports). There’s more than 2000 games including nearly 1600 slot games (plus Slingo, scratch, skill and crash games); the jackpots alone include Mega Moolah, WowPots and Dream Drops and the new games area is full of exciting new releases. You can search for games by name or filter by the provider, and hit the little heart icon on the game tiles to add them your favourites (you don’t even have to be logged in to do this).

The live casino area has a number of familar casino games and game shows from Evolution and Pragmatic Play but in case you’d like to try something a bit different there’s three other providers – Creedroomz, Real Dealer and Bet Games TV

The promotions page at Hollywoodbets looks busy but some of the promotions are sportsbook related and others are slots network promotions such as Pragmatic Play’s Drops & Wins. That still leaves some unique ones, though – when we visited there was a weekly cashback offer and a couple of stake & get free spins offers with no further wagering requirements on any.

Although debit card is the only payment method that can be used to claim the welcome offer, they accept a number of other deposit methods including various e-wallets, prepaid vouchers and mobile phone billing.
