Cosmic Spins is a slot and casino site on the Betable platform. The welcome offer allows players to claim up to £150 in bonuses but this requires depositing a total of £300 across three deposits.
Cosmic Spins has a couple of hundred slot and casino games by the likes of Eyecon, Pragmatic Play and PlayNGo. Although recent releases such as Big Bass Splash are visible on the games page, when we visited in January 2023 the site was looking pretty neglected. No promotions, for a start. And all the NetEnt games have been removed. And the progressive jackpots are gone (not that there were many in the first place). And then there’s the section on the home page titled “The Best Of 2020”. Who leaves that in place for more than two years? And includes slots such as White Wizard that aren’t from 2020 at all but from years ago? Doesn’t inspire confidence, does it? And nor does the sheer slowness of the site – you may have to wait several seconds for the welcome offer to appear.
We think we know what the problem is! The Betable platform has a transferable wallet called the Betable wallet and this means that with an account at Cosmic Spins you can also play on any other Betable powered site or app. However, this does has its downside – you may not be eligible for the Cosmic Spins welcome offer (which isn’t great anyway) if you’ve previously claimed a welcome offer at any other Betable site.
Now suppose you’re an operator – this is a terrible idea, isn’t it? What’s the point of opening more brands on the Betable platform if anyone who knows and likes the platform can’t claim any welcome offers? Perhaps that is why so many of the Betable properties have closed, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see Cosmic Spins follow suit. If it doesn’t at the very least it needs a rethink and redesign.
It’s a shame to see a site so neglected, but there it is, and in 2023 there are far better sites to play at – check out our UK slot sites page for literally hundreds of them, many with far better welcome offers than poor old Cosmic Spins.
