Sky Bingo is a Virtue Fusion/Playtech bingo site with a particularly generous welcome offer.   Sky won Operator of the Year back in 2012 and has several exclusive bingo rooms including the exclusive bingo variants Mystical Bingo (50 ball), Tipping Point Bingo (40 ball) and Love Island Bingo (90 ball).  Ticket prices are also ideal for the value conscious player – the Sky Community and Sky Pennies rooms are packed with games where the ticket price is 1p – 4p.   Sky is a very British site with all the chat hosts – who are all very pleasant and helpful to newbies – located in the UK.

Sky Bingo

Sky run a lot of exclusive promotions and are especially good about keeping their players informed about these; this happens by text and/or email depending on player preference but as well, the site has Promotion Qualification pop-up messages to let players know what’s on.  The Sky Bingo Facebook page is also extremely active, with frequent bonus giveaways.

Sky Bingo used to have a complicated loyalty gem scheme but in autumn 2017 they took the radical step of getting rid of it completely and replacing it with a free daily game, Prize Burst, that can be played by anyone with an account there.  Prize Burst is a pick-me game featuring a cute purple frog and six luck associated symbols; choose your favourite and the frog shoots it to reveal what (if anything) you have won. The top prize is £50 cash but most prizes (10,000 per day) are small amounts of Mystical Bingo or Mystical Scratchcard bonus.

Sky Bingo has a great selection of slot games and scratchcards including Clover Rollover, several varieties of Fluffy Favourites and Tipping Point and Mystical games which are exclusive to Sky.  An even bigger and better selection of slots is available at Sky Vegas (which has many slot promotions including a daily free game of its own, Prize Machine, which runs periodically) and there’s also the Playtech based Sky Casino where progressive jackpots such as Justice League, Age of the Gods and Jackpot Giant can be played.  Sky Vegas and Sky Casino can be played with the same wallet and using a Sky Bingo login and in fact, if logged into Sky Bingo at the time players do not even have to use the login again to access the other sections – they simply click on one of the buttons at the top of the page to open another Sky product in a new tab with no disruption to bingo play.

Mobile play at Sky is super easy as there are apps for both Android and Apple and if you should ever fancy a change from the bingo and slots Sky also offer live casino, poker, several types of fantasy sport and the Sky Bet section which offers bets on sports, eSports, politics and TV/film specials including the ending of Game of Thrones and who will be the next James Bond.  Again, all these other products can be accessed with a Sky Bingo login and wallet.

The very best thing about Sky Bingo, though, is that if you receive a bonus of any kind as part of a promotion (including Prize Burst), that bonus will then be used BEFORE any cash you may have in your account; at most other bingo sites cash is used first, and even at the ones where bonus is used first that usually only applies to bingo bonus.  The wagering requirements on promotional bonuses (including slots bonuses) also tend to be considerably lower than at other Playtech bingo sites.

All in all, Sky Bingo is a brilliant place to play once you manage to open an account – but be warned, opening an account there these days is reportedly neither quick nor easy.  Two pieces of ID have to be submitted before a deposit can be made and there is a wait for ID and age verification procedures to be carried out before the account can be activated.  While is this no doubt extremely annoying for players, it is arguably better than what many other sites do which is to delay carrying out such checks until the player wants to withdraw their winnings (and refuse the withdrawal if the player cannot produce the required evidence)!
