Elf Bingo is a Jumpman bingo and slots site that celebrates its 10th birthday in 2023.
Originally launched just in time for Christmas 2013, Elf Bingo used to be the only bingo site on the 15 Network to offer a no deposit bonus. Sadly, the days of the free £5 bonus – or indeed any bingo bonus – are long gone now. A house owned site, it had a complete redesign in Spring 2018 when it moved to the new version of the Jumpman platform.
The redesign saw the old mascot Eddie the (Christmas) Elf replaced with a much nicer looking and non seasonal general fantasy theme replete with toadstools, a hollow-tree house and woodland background – all rather twee, but very impressive.
It’s not just the design that has changed over the last decade. The nature of the site today is very different from what it once was, which was a bingo focused site based around Jumpman’s proprietary bingo software with just a few slot games on offer (Fluffy and its ilk). Today, the Jumpman bingo product is long since retired and the bingo rooms are supplied by Pragmatic Play, networked not just across all Jumpman sites (including Jumpman Slots sites) but across every site using the Pragmatic Play bingo software. There’s no exclusive Jumpman bingo rooms, no bingo offers or bonuses, and no chat (but there is at least plenty of liquidity due to the very wide networking).
While the bingo has essentially been sidelined, the slots provision has improved beyond all recognition and now takes centre stage. There’s hundreds of games from lots of different providers inclduign some very big names, and new titles are added every few days. The only slight area of weakness in the slots lineup is the progressive jackpots, almost all of which are by Eyecon. Elf Bingo also now has a well appointed table games area in the lobby, featuring live blackjack, roulette and Pragmatic Play gameshows.
Still a decent site then, all things considered, despite all of the changes. There remains plenty here to keep slot and bingo players entertained, even if the generous no deposit bonus has become the stuff of fairy tales.
