The theming at Magic Red is very plain; essentially it’s confined to the magician’s hat logo which appears on a few promotions as well as on the header, and all of the promotional banners and game tiles are presented on a plain white background.  It’s not terribly exciting but it does help to keep the screen free of clutter and distractions when you’re playing on a mobile phone.

Like most other Aspire Global casinos, Magic Red has a huge range of slot games from many different providers but is perhaps a bit lacking in ways to find games you might like but haven’t tried before.  The Casino part of the site is split into Featured Games, New, Slots, Drops & Wins, Table Games and All Games.

• All Games includes scratchcards, crash games and other instant win games such as video bingo, but good luck finding them in such a long and jumbled list unless you know exactly what you’re looking for!

The Live Casino part of the site is much easier to navigate, with separate tabs for live roulette, live blackjack, game shows, live baccarat and sic bo and live poker.  As well as Funky Time, Mega Ball etc by Evolution, the game shows tab includes Joker’s Wheel, the first live casino game show by Skywind.

If nothing in any of these lobby tabs catches your eye you can use the magnifying glass icon to search for games.  The search box brings up results (for all games, not just slots) when you’ve entered a single character and throws up matches for game providers as well as game titles e.g. “game” brings up Game of Thrones slot games plus lots of games by Realistic Games and Scientific Games.

The only other way to find games is to use the Games List (you’ll find a link to this in the footer) which is a text list of every game they have on site shown alphabetically or split by the game provider; each entry has a Play button but there’s no game tile or any other information about each game.

The welcome offer at Magic Red has no wagering requirements, but redeposit offers do, and when you come to claim one of these you’ll notice that not all games contribute the same to the otherwise OK wagering requirements and indeed, there is what looks like an extremely long list of slot games that only contribute at 50%.  To find out what they are, you need to follow the link in the “Bonus Policy” which is referenced in the full terms and conditions of each offer.  Don’t be put off by the length of the list as it includes every single 50% contribution game that has ever been available to play at an Aspire Global casino, and lots of them are no longer current.  Having said that, it does include some very popular games like Big Bass Bonanza, Eye of Horus, 9 Masks of Fire and all NetEnt games apart from around a dozen named titles – so you may want to check it before claiming a bonus and certainly before starting on the wagering requirement.

Promotions at Magic Red include regular spins and cashback offers plus slot tournaments run in conjunction with slot game providers (like the Pragmatic Play promotion that was mentioned earlier).  This is actually quite a bit better than what’s on offer at most other Aspire casinos.

Magic Red Casino offers a good range of deposit options including modern payment methods such as Trustly, Astropay and MuchBetter, and all can be used to claim deposit offers, but there’s no option for mobile phone billing.

All in all, Magic Red Casino is a nice looking example of an Aspire Global casino that looks good on mobile and desktop devices alike and if you aren’t bothered about the relative lack of game categorisation in the lobby you may find it suits you very well.
