BetTarget is an Aspire powered casino and sportsbook that was launched in autumn 2021.
BetTarget’s USP is the inclusion of a sportsbook or perhaps – given the fact that 9 of the 10 offers on the promotions page when we visited were sports offers and the remaining offer was the casino welcome bonus – the sportsbook’s USP is the inclusion of the casino! It’s certainly a great sportsbook, with extras inlcuding in-play betting and the innovative Bet.Battle tournaments. These leaderboards run daily or weekly, focusing on one sport, and can last up to 7 days.
But back to the casino, what’s that like? It’s pretty well appointed, and divded into two main areas, Casino and Live Casino.
The Live Casino area has a section for Game Shows by Evolution including Dream Catcher, Mega Ball and Gonzo’s Treasure Hunt, plus a sizeable selection of roulette, blackjack and baccarat tables at various stake levels.
The Casino area is where you’ll find all of the slot games as well as a few non live dealer table games (which have their own tab) and some scratchcards and Slingo (these are all mixed in with the slot games, though, so you’ll need to know the name of the game you want to play to be able to find it. New games and Jackpots also have their own tabs, though this hardly seems worthwhile for jackpots as there’s less than a dozen of them (size is not an issue though as a few of them are Jackpot King games).
The main slots area contains hundreds of games. Initially they are listed in what looks like order of popularity, but this can be toggled to alphabetical or reverse alphabetical order. There’s also a powerful search facility which starts to return results after you’ve typed in just one character, so if you can’t decide what to play, you could just type in a random letter and see what comes up! Don’t use it to search on providers, though; Aspire classify games according to who provides the feed rather than who developed the game so, for example, all the NetEnt games come out as Pariplay. Which isn’t helpful if you want to browse the NetEnt back catalogue.
On mobile, the search facility can be accessed from the hamburger menu as well as from the lobby which makes it extra easy to use. A decent looking Aspire site, then, with a sportsbook too.
Responsible Gambling Policy is supplied by Aspire. It’s got an interactive questionnaire as well as advice and links to helpful organisations. There are the usual safer gambling tools (with direct links to set them) and they also mention session limits and autoplay limits; the former can only be set via live chat and the latter is well out of date (autoplay hasn’t been allowed in the UK since autumn 2021).
