BetDuel is a casino and slot site and sportsbook on the Progress Play platform, new for Autumn 2021.

The operator behind BetDuel has previous experience of running Progress Play casinos and their other sites, King J Casino and Tebwin, have proven to be very popular with players. BetDuel is very much more of the same, with all the advantages and disadvantages of other sites on the platform.

One of the big advantages of the Progress Play platform is the range of player promotions. There’s something on every day of the week at the casino part of the site; most are deposit based bonus or spins offers that can be claimed multiple times but there’s also leaderboards and cashback promotions. The sportsbook part of the site also has lots of promotions but they tend to be ongoing and based round the type of sports (motorsports, esports, football and so on) so may not be applicable if you prefer to stick to your favourite sport.

Another advantage of Progress Play casinos is their mobile usability (something that they have been prioritising for years). You can deposit using mobile phone billing for added convenience when playing on the go, but be aware that there’s a charge for this.

And let’s not forget the games! There’s a huge selection of slot games from a long list of suppliers; you can filter by provider, search by name or browse the various sections – new, featured, and so on. The live casino area has lots of blackjack, baccarat and roulette tables and there’s also some RNG table games plus the Casual section which contains various instant win games, scratchcards, virtual sports and their one game show, Dream Catcher. All games can be saved to the Favourites area for easy replay.

As for the disadvantages of Progress Play, the main one is the length of time it can take to get your money after requesting a withdrawal as there’s a pending period of three business days before they even start to process it. Not great given that there are sites on other platforms that will process withdrawals in less than an hour (assuming all documentation is in order).

The other disadvantage of the Progress Play platform is that the selection of progressive jackpots is relatively small (most are by Eyecon) and there’s nothing on the scale of Mega Moolah or Jackpot King.

If neither of these are an issue for you, and you’d like to have a sportsbook attached to your casino (or vice versa), BetDuel is certainly worth a look.
