New for 2022 – the Year of the Tiger – comes a new Progress Play casino, 777 Tigers, complete with an exclusive welcome offer.

The “777” in the name doesn’t refer to a veritable army of tigers, but is commonly used to refer to a slot machine jackpot. And unlike some other casino platforms we could mention, they do have some jackpot slots (mostly by Eyecon) in their own tab in the lobby. The rest of the games are mostly slots (including Playtech slots in the Vegas tab that was added in 2023) but other types of games are available in the Casual tab (scratchcards and instant win), the Casino tab (RNG table games) and the Live tab (roulette, baccarat and blackjack and a few game shows by Evolution and Playtech).

777 Tigers still has the older style of Progress Play lobby and as well as the main Slots tab and the Jackpots tab, there’s Featured for the most popular games, New which is self explanatory and Favourites; you can add games to this tab by clicking on the little heart icon so the games you like best are always readily accessible. This feature is missing from a lot of casinos these days and it’s nice to see it here.

The newer and more popular games appear near the top of the full games listings and there’s no option to switch to alphabetical order, but there’s a powerful search box that starts to return results after you’ve typed just one character in, and an option to filter by provider which works better than most (there’s a slight issue with a few providers including Evolution having more than one entry on the dropdown each showing different games). Not a perfect lobby, then, but not bad at all in terms of how easy it is to find games you’d like to play. The range of games itself is pretty good but a few providers (Yggdrasil, IGT) are conspicuous by their absence. If you’d like to explore older games by the likes of ELK, Lightning Box and PlayNGo, however, you’ve definitely come to the right place.

The Progress Play platform is well known for its player promotions and there’s always lots going on. Deposit based bonus and spins offers, cashback and slots leaderboards are all in evidence. The deposit offers are changed every month and most of them can be used several times, so it should easily be possible to collect a bonus or spins every time you make a deposit. You’ll also receive personalised offers via email, SMS etc that are not the same as the ones at most other Progress Play sites.

There’s nothing particularly innovative about 777 Tigers, but as a fairly new casino on a tried and tested platform with some decent player promotions and a great welcome offer, it ticks a lot of boxes.
