The Daily Mirror’s bingo site was BACK with a vengeance for Summer 2020, on the Jumpman platform with bingo rooms by Pragmatic Play.
This isn’t the first platform change Mirror Bingo has gone through, but it may well be the last. The previous change was back in 2014 when it became a Virtue Fusion site. Unfortunately that partnership didn’t work out so well as the site became more and more neglected looking over the years, whereas Jumpman’s management of Mirror Bingo and other Reach sites including Star Wins and Express Wins seems to be much more on the ball and makes much more of what is after all a household name. Much more so, in fact, than Jumpman themselves so it’s not hard to see why players might feel more comfortable playing at Mirror Bingo than at some other random Jumpman brand.
Mirror Bingo’s home page gives the bingo rooms pride of place and there’s also a bingo specific page with information about different types of bingo games and a FAQ for newbies. This is quite the contrast to most Jumpman sites where you might not even realise there is bingo without some very thorough exploration of the lobby. Under the hood, though, it’s the same bingo rooms as at every other site with a Jumpman licence (most of which don’t even have the word bingo in their name).
Pragmatic Play bingo is a great product. There’s several different types of bingo available – 30 ball, 80 ball, 75 ball and three flavours of 90 ball including one (Diamond Dazzle) that is conceptually very close to Deal or No Deal Bingo. The very widely networked bingo rooms mean that there’s usually worthwhile prizes to play for and there’s also regular and seasonal fixed jackpot games. The very powerful prebuy facilities mean you can buy tickets up to a month in advance. But – and unfortunately it is a big but – the implementation of the Pragmatic Play bingo product at Jumpman falls down on two points that many players will consider to be very important.
There’s no exclusive bingo rooms or promotions, just the Pragmatic Play network rooms and not even all of those (no Drop Pots at Jumpman). At one point Jumpman did have an exclusive bingo game once a week, but it’s now been removed.
There’s no chat in the bingo rooms; with the Pragmatic Play bingo product operators have to supply the chat hosts and Jumpman elected not to, so it’s been disabled. If you mostly play on your mobile, however, you may not be too bothered about the lack of opportunity to interact with other players and join in with a community.
If you are into slots as much as bingo, Mirror Bingo has a great deal to offer in that department. All of the promotions including the welcome offer are focused on slots, and the sheer range of games on offer is very impressive. They also keep adding new games every few days so you’ll never run out of fresh games to try out. And the Jumpman lobby is one of the easiest to use if you want to play slots on a mobile phone.
Not a conventional bingo site then – but Mirror Bingo could be a great choice for someone who likes to play both slots and bingo, enjoys the spin the wheel type of offer and isn’t into chatting.
There’s a fairly basic responsible gambling page and section in the Terms and Conditions. Covers the requirements but no frills. Setting deposit limits can be done from the responsible gambling page but self exclusion has to be done by email. If you self exclude it applies to all sites with a Jumpman licence not just Mirror Bingo.
