Farmyard Bingo is a Dragonfish bingo site originally from Ignite (the operators of Costa Bingo) and now owned by 888. It used to feature Percy the pig and a supporting cast of cutesy farmyard animals but all are gone now and the farmyard theme only survives in the names of the jackpot bingo games.
Once you get inside the lobby, however, even that vestige of the theming disappears and all of the bingo rooms have regular, boring names. This is as a result of events back in 2017 when operators were warned not to use imagery and ideas that appeal to children when promoting gambling products, even on their own website. Percy the Pig and his friends were a prime example of this and it’s hard to see that could have been done to preserve the theme in any significant way.
That’s not the only way in which the Farmyard Bingo of today differs from the original, and it’s not all bad. The entire Ignite network was bought by 888 a couple of years ago and the bingo rooms on offer are now mostly the same as the ones at sites like Wink Bingo. That’s a bigger range of bingo rooms than were originally on offer; however, most of them are cash only and you’ll only be able to use bonus in a few rooms, grouped together in a tab in the lobby.
As well as the bingo rooms networked with other 888 sites, there’s still some Ignite exclusives:
This is one reason why Farmyard Bingo is still worth a visit despite being a shadow of its former self in terms of the look and feel of the site and the availability of exclusive promotions.
I don’t find these sites worthwhile at all. They all want to entice you into the bonus money to play with. You can deposit money in each of the big games, but it is the same winner through out all of the sites, exactly the same one! so you don’t have different chances in each … so you may purchase maximum tickets for each site spending approx £10 per jackpot ….all on the sister sites and almost £100 on the bigger games … so definitely not worth it… also you have to spend the bonus money ASAP otherwise any winnings in real cash is spent before you spend the bonus money… bit of a con really …. they are all sister sites so they should all equally have different winners for each one …. I actually had 3 screens up at one time and even the NUMBERS were very SIMILAR to ones I had purchased with a slight change on one or two lines … 96 tickets on one, 96 tickets on another, and 72 on another. with not one line winning …. you may deposit £5/£10 in each one, but you are actually putting all the money into one site … so save your money! Go to the bingo halls instead! I’m even trying to give it a 1 star rating but it won’t let me …. hhmmmmmmmmm
