Crown Bingo has been around since 2005. It underwent a major change during 2016 to become one of a new breed of bingo sites where the familiar Virtue Fusion bingo platform – complete with BingoLinx games and big network promotions – was plugged into a Bede Gaming back end managed by IPS.
However, this was not to last and in March 2017 Crown Bingo and other IPS-managed Virtue Fusion bingo sites migrated to the Bede Gaming platform and (assuming that you like to play bingo) this is definitely not an improvement.
The network is now owned by casino kings Leo Vegas who have decided not to bother trying to attract any new players from the UK so looks set to become quieter still. If you’re looking for an alternative to Virtue Fusion, this isn’t it.
As appearances go, the Crown Bingo site belongs firmly in the early 2010s. The games are framed in a rounded box and are accompanied by two horizontal menus. Nevertheless, there are plenty of online slots to be getting on with – popular games include Rainbow Riches, Rainbow Jackpots, Fluffy Favourites and that ground-breaking title that irrevocably changed iGaming former…Immortal Fruits.
In addition to the slots is a good collection of computer-based casino games such as blackjack, poker and roulette. A live dealer suite has also been made available to players who get bored of pitting their wits against a random number generator.
Bingo-wise, there 75 and 90 ball rooms…and that’s about it really. Still, if you love online slots, there’s quite a bit here to keep you entertained.
