Beatle Bingo is one of the weirdest names for a bingo site we’ve come across; it’s not named after famous musicians, honestly! There ARE musicians in the rather psychedelic looking theming, but they’re insects…very odd.
Take a closer look at the guitar playing insects and you’ll see that they aren’t Beatles, or even beetles, but ladybirds. And we’re surprised to see them there at all – they look very much like the sort of cute cartoon characters that operators removed in droves some years ago when the Gambling Commission cracked down on the use of images that might appeal to children. Indeed, they WERE removed from a while, but returned when the site was brought up to date with the new “Snow White” lobby in 2020.
The theming scarcely matters, though, as once you get inside the lobby Beatle Bingo looks exactly the same as its sister sites which include Bingo Hearts and Daisy Bingo, and almost exactly the same as any number of other Dragonfish network bingo sites.
As far as the bingo goes, it’s got all, and only, the Dragonfish network bingo rooms. You can play 90 ball, 5 line (aka 75-25), pattern or coverall 75 ball or 52 ball (playing card) bingo and most ticket prices are from 5p. Bonus can be used in some of these rooms and the rest are cash only; none of them are especially busy but most have chat. The free rooms, on the other hand, are extremely busy (you’ll need to have made a recent deposit to gain entry to most of them) and so are the daily jackpot games (Dreamy Monday, Terrific Tuesday and so on) each of which runs in a room of its own to enable players to buy tickets up to a week ahead of time (this is the only way to pre-buy on the Dragonfish software). There’s also the Big £10K which plays once a month but you can’t buy tickets for that; it’s a loyalty room and you’ll be sent free tickets based on the deposits you make.
What about the slots? Well, there’s more than 650 games in the lobby, which is considerably more than some other Dragonfish sites and massively more than you would think from visiting the Slots page before logging in (it just has a small number of examples with a search facility that doesn’t work). Not all of them can be played with bonus, though; at least it’s clear which can’t be as they are clearly marked “Real Money Only” in the lobby so there’s no need to refer to the small print in the terms and conditions as happens at so many other sites.
Beatle Bingo has a coins loyalty scheme that is shared with other Dragonfish bingo sites directly owned by 888 but not with skin sites on the Dragonfish network. The coins are transferable between sites so if you already have an account at, say, Wink Bingo, you’ll find any coins you may have collected there in your Beatle Bingo account as soon as you open it. You can also collect coins at Beatle Bingo and spend them elsewhere where there could be different things in the shop (for example, the shop at Costa Bingo has free bingo tickets and the shop at Beatle Bingo doesn’t).
Like all Dragonfish sites with the Snow White version of the bingo lobby (and these days that’s all of them), Beatle Bingo works well on mobile devices. In fact you had better have a mobile device, because one of the two very annoying things about the sign-up process is that you have to opt in to all communications and give them your mobile phone number to complete registration, as you’ll need a code which is sent by SMS to verify your account. The other annoying thing is that the minimum deposit in the cashier appears to be £20; it’s not, though, you can enter £5 or £10 in the “other amount” box in the bottom right hand corner.
These minor niggles apart, Beatle Bingo is a perfectly decent Dragonfish network bingo sites and will appeal to players who like their bonus split between bingo and slots.
