When is the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix?

The Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2022 takes place at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit on 27th March 2022, at 17:00 GMT (the clocks will have gone forward in the UK overnight so it’s actually at 6pm UK time).  It’s only a few months since the previous race there as it was last but one on the calendar in 2021.  Unlike other Middle Eastern races which start at around sunset, it is a true night race.

What’s on the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix bingo card?

The bingo card for the Jeddah weekend includes:

Events that could occur on any (or every) race weekend

Yes, it’s the usual front wing damage, pit stop goes wrong, etc etc

Events that are track specific

For Jeddah, “under the lights” makes another appearance, plus in the wall and turn 22 incident.  Again, anything relating to rain has been left off.  And absolutely everything related to quali and race stoppages has been put in, on the grounds that the race was red flagged twice last year.

How To Play

The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix bingo cards have been set to a 3×3 grid size with 9 items to mark off which we think is about right for a single Grand Prix weekend (the Formula One 2022 Season bingo cards, which are meant to be played over several months, are bigger at 5×5).

• If you’re happy with the 3×3 grid size and don’t want to add any events of your own to the list, simply press Generate Bingo Cards.
• Then, enter the number of cards you want to print into the “Custom number to print” box.  We suggest printing more than you need so everyone can pick a card they like the look of.
• Press Generate Printable Cards.
• You’ll be taken to a page of cards, all different from each other, that you can print from your browser (or copy the URL or bookmark to print later).
• If you don’t want to print a set of cards you can use Invite through email.  Each of your invited email addresses will receive a link to their own unique card.
• NEW: You can mark your card on screen (just touch or click on the grid square) and it will stay marked between sessions.  So if you mark a couple of things off during qualy, you can load your card up for the race next day and find it in the same state.

Feel free to add extra items to your cards and/or remove any you don’t like if you want before pressing Generate Bingo Cards; press Tap To Start before playing around with the controls and you’ll be able to see your changes as you make them.

Once you’ve got your cards, watch the race weekend unfold and mark off the events as they happen (or are mentioned in the commentary).  First to fill their card wins!  If no-one fills their card, the player with the fewest spaces left wins.  You can also play the advanced game and award prizes for completed lines in any direction.
